Pure Coco Wax is obtained via a natural process and is very SUSTAINABLE.
Coconut wax is produced by pressing the oil out of the coconut meat and goes through the process of hydrogenation. It is filtered and cleaned giving you 100% natural and fully biodegradable wax.
Coconut is a renewable and high yield crop which means less coconuts are needed to get a sizeable amount of product. Making it one of the eco-friendliest waxes on the market.
Deforestation is not associated with coconut wax.
The coconut tree has a lifespan of 60 – 80 years and is often referred to as a “three generation tree” because it provides and supports a farmer, his children and grandchildren! How amazing is that?! When harvesting its fruits - one does not have to take down a coconut tree – so of course it would not be associated with deforestation!
Pure coco wax produces candles with a slow and even burn.
Coconut wax burns slower than any other wax on the market making you enjoy your favourite candles longer. An even burn also translates to you enjoying all of what the candle has to offer instead of being left with half the product stuck to the sides!
Compared to soy wax, coconut wax burns at a rate of about 10 to 15% longer for the same volume. So if you've made a 250gm soy wax candle you’d expect 50 hours burn time, but the exact same size candle using coconut wax, you’d expect 56 to 58 hours burn time.

GMO means Genetically modified organism – over the years, most fruits and veggies have been somewhat genetically modified but the coconuts are one of the very few left that have remained untouched. Nothing is added when producing coconut wax.

Coconut wax is creamy bright white in color and the icing on the cake is that it is odorless - it does not smell like coconut at all! A tell-tale sign that the coco wax we use is pure, is that your candle may get to you with the top looking imperfect. Don’t fret, this disappears as soon as you light them and will not affect the fragrance, performance and the candle quality.
